Filosoficheskiye Pis’ma

This essay considers the possibility of a dialogue between Russian and Western thought through the philosophy of Vladimir Bibikhin. Th e pivotal point for this dialogue is the non-identity of human being and thinking that, in its core, alienates that which is most our «own», including a philosophical heritage, language, world, place, and experience.
