GAIT Gizarte Aldaketa Ikerketa Taldea is a research group focused on understanding the multiple transformations that shape contemporary society. Our research approaches the dynamics of social change from a multidisciplinary perspective, structured around five interconnected lines of inquiry.
Since 1997, GAIT has been classified as a high-performance Consolidated Research Group (Type A) within the Basque University System, based at the University of the Basque Country (EHU). The group currently brings together researchers from seven departments across the EHU, spanning the social sciences, humanities, and the arts.
