She is a PhD candidate in the Graduate Programme in Law at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS, Brazil). She holds a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN). She is a researcher affiliated with the Law and Society Research Group (GPDS/UFRGS), the Violence, Work and Illegalisms Research Group (UFRN), and the Right to the City Research Group (FMP), and also participates as an extension researcher in the Observatory of Social Interest Land Regularization (ORFIS/UFRGS).
She is currently developing her doctoral dissertation on the contractualization of public–private partnerships in urban parks, a topic that also informs her most recent research within the framework of the projects Legal Geographies of Cities; Reconstruction, Redemocratization and Innovation in Brazilian Urban Policy (2024); and SOS Porto Alegre: Porto Alegre S.A. and Attacks on the Commons in the Gaucho Capital.
Her Master’s dissertation focused on criminology, with particular emphasis on the penitentiary system and fear of crime in cities, a line of research developed within the Violence, Work and Illegalisms Research Group (UFRN).
Her academic interests focus on Legal Geography, Criminology, and Urban Planning. She is a member of the Empirical Research Network in Law (REED) in Brazil.
