Padres en construcción. Diálogos y observaciones de una experiencia encarnada

Through a qualitative investigation of with fathers of different profiles and experiences with regard to their investment in childcare, this project approaches two fundamental questions. The first is the nature of experiences associated to pregnancy, childbirth and the first months of the baby and their impact on the construction of a father. The second is examining the importance that these men give to the duration and specific conditions of paternity leaves (transferrability, joint or separate use) and the way in which these experiences impact their self-image as fathers and contribute to a context of greater gender equality.
