PhD in Political Sociology (University of the Basque Country, 2005); She is researcher at CES-Associated Laboratory since 2007 and member of the Research Group on Democracy, Citizenship and Law (DECIDe). She lectures in the PhD Programmes: “Democracy in the 21st Century” (CES/FEUC) and “Human Rightsin Contemporary Societies”; she is a member of the Editorial Board of the peer-reviewed journals e-cadernos ces and Papeles del CEIC. Her major research interests are over issues of racism and anti-racism in European contexts, critical race theory, Eurocentrism and the production of History, social theory and knowledge production, the politics of testimony and truth commissions in Latin American contexts.
